Helping you declutter and organise your home one category at a time, instead of one room at a time, is the most comprehensive way to make a lasting positive impact. The 5 categories are addressed in this order: clothing - books - paper documents - miscellaneous items - sentimental. Miscellaneous items are addressed in sub categories e.g. personal care items, kitchen items, electronics, hobby items, linen, hardware, decor, etc. The order of these 5 categories is intentional: moving from items most frequently used to least used, and from personal to shared items. There is still flexibility to rearrange this order to best fit with every individual. How long it will take to complete your project depends on the size of your home, the volume of items you have and your decision making pace. Assessment Package: one on-site consultation | Starting at R3,000
This is ideal for serious DIYers. I come to you, we walk through your home together and discuss where and what you’re struggling with and what you want to change. While we’re together, I’ll give you verbal advice, ideas, recommendations and discuss a plan so that you can execute your declutter and organising project by yourself, with predefined follow up support via WhatsApp.
Full Package: the entire home (all 5 categories) | Starting at R15,300
In this hands-on in-home service, we systematically follow a plan that I’ve personalised to your needs and lifestyle, addressing all 5 categories and implementing the principles of the KonMari Method® to help you declutter, tidy up and create order in your entire house, including your garage and other adjacent storage spaces. I also train your housekeeper on new folding techniques and maintaining the order. Each visit is a minimum 3 hours. Your physical presence isn’t required for the whole duration of each visit.
Flexible Package: you select the categories | Starting at R5,100
As with the Full Package, this is also a personalised hands-on, declutter and organising in-home KonMari service, working only on a selection of categories of your choice, e.g. your clothes and paper documents.
Maintenance Package: add-on follow up support | Starting at R3,000
As with any changes you make in life, there’s always an adjustment period of settling in in the beginning. Periodically you need to evaluate how well the storage changes in your household is running. Anticipating adjustments is a normal part of the process for creating a home environment that works for you. Everyone in the home (you, your family and your domestic staff) will be adjusting to habits and organisational systems that are new. This package is an add-on service over 2 months, occurring a few weeks after the decluttering and organising phases are complete. This service takes care of identifying snags and implementing adjustments for you, that makes maintaining your new order easier for everyone. This could be in the form of giving you and/or your domestic staff a refresher on new folding techniques and the maintaining of new storage systems, as well as to rearrange or amend storage locations and systems that needs more attention, until the right click point is achieved.
Virtual Support
Online Service for the DIYer (via Zoom calls)
Pay As You Go | R1,400 per 90 minute session
When you prefer a do-it-yourself approach to home related projects, this real time virtual support and accountability service could be for you. Sessions are minimum 90 minutes each and you can pay as you go. DIY virtual sessions are ideal if:
you want a self-paced declutter/organising support but without hands-on help from someone else,
you want to work with a certified KonMari Home Organiser and there isn’t one in your area,
you are confident to implement any hands-on decluttering and tidying up by yourself, and would like the guidance, support and accountability from an experienced home organiser so that you can start, continue or complete your project successfully,
one or more of the above applies to you and you generally enjoy and benefit from talking through your thoughts and decisions with someone who is unbiased and experienced in this type of home project.
